Brief Interviews with Hideous Men
After having read and loved Infinite Jest, I really wanted to like this book. It had its moments, the best being the final brief interview, but more often than not David Foster Wallace's trademark disregard for convention and penchant for unrestrained digression combined with largely bleak and depressing themes made this book a chore to read.
