Beginning in the first chapter with the notion of "Beautiful House Syndrome" (This is not my beautiful house!) and continuing through to the book's end where Rubin declares enthusiasm a form of social courage (Don't think so? Try professing your love of Barry Manilow's music), The Happiness Project was a joy to read and gave me plenty to chew on during discontented moments. But then I'm a sucker for this sort of "stunt nonfiction." [ full review ]
