Mr g: A Novel About the Creation
Alan Lightman (Einstein's Dreams) once again bridges poetry and science in a novel that imagines God, the creator, while remaining true to scientific theory. He draws on apocrypha from Muslim, Hebrew, and Christian religions while deftly steering clear of the specifics of any of those. Mr. g is a fascinating thought experiment. [full review]
